Scott was born in Dhahran while the family lived in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. Beverly stayed in the "Mother House" about one week. It was 100 feet or so from the hospital and all the mothers were required to stay there at the end of their pregnancy so there would be no risk of not making it to the hospital from a distant city. Abqaiq was about 1 hour from the hospital in Dhahran.
