Nancy Ann Foley

Nancy Ann Foley was born about 1834 the second child and first daughter of Elijah Foley and Phebe ___. Before she was sixteen, her mother died and her father remarried a woman named Elizabeth. She had five brothers and four sisters by 1850 and the family resided in Garrard county, Kentucky. On the November 8, 1854, Nancy married Willis Franklin Lane in the home of Jacob Lane in Lincoln county, which borders Garrard county to the South. Willis and Nancy had five children, John, Mary Susane, Charles, F.W., and Flora T. At some point after 1867, they moved to Labette county, Kansas where their children eventually married and settled also.
