Myrtle Frances Pepperdine


Myrtle Frances Pepperdine was born 3 February 1914 in Labette county, Kansas the daughter of Fred Pepperdine and Flossie Hamilton. She completed 12 years of education and was self employed for 20 years as a musician. She never married. The last 40 years of her life she lived in San Diego county, California. Her last residence was 843 Floyd Avenue, Chula Vista, San Diego, California 91910. This was the same residence that her mother Flossie had before she died. Myrtle’s daughter, Ann Reynolds, was the informant for her death certificate. Myrtle died on New Year’s Eve, 31 December 1992 of a cerebrovascular accident due to cardiac arrhythmia, the duration lasting three weeks. Another significant condition to her health was diabetes mellitus. She was buried in the same cemetery as her parents, Oak Hill Memorial Park, Escondido, California on 6 January 1993. In 1933 he moved to Vista-Rural, San Diego, California where he continued farming and spent the last 18 years of his life. Fred Pepperdine died 6 June 1951 at 10:45pm at age 69. The cause of death was acute coronary occlusion which lasted one hour. Antecedent causes were arteriosclerotic heart disease and generalized arteriosclerosis which he had had for years. He also had a previous coronary occlusion three years earlier in 1948. Fred was buried in Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido, California 9 Jun 1951.
